Where has this year gone?

This has been a turbulent year. At least for me it has. Time has been moving way too fast to really keep up with it. Hawkeye and I were going to record a show the other week and now my PC has taken a dive. He also has been busy with his own stuff which is why we haven’t seen any new strips.

I hope to have things under control in the next few weeks and we can get this site moving a bit quicker. In the meantime, drop us a phone call by clicking the link to the left. Also be sure to listen to some of the classic podcasts that we’ve recorded over the last two years.

Sorry for the delay. Life has a way of making one busy without asking permission. New show will be recorded this weekend one way or another, with or without us… you might just be hearing static.

Not sure where Hawkeye’s strip has gone, he said he wouldn’t have a problem uploading new strips. We’ll see.

This weeks show: People that are depressed that Pandora from the film Avatar does not exist. The Late Show drama between Leno, Conan and $40 million. We also discuss Sony’s decision to fire Sam Raimi from Spiderman 4 and create a whole reboot where Peter Parker is in High School.

Today we discuss the whereabouts of our Rocket Boots and flying cars, 2010 Laws and Taco Bell Diets. I mean what happened to all of the things that we should have by now? Did reality television or television by itself destroy our chances of such things during my lifetime?

We also got our first caller… some sort of random banter that sounds like last drop of a Miller High Life 40 oz.

It’s been months… I know that. Problems here and there and my PowerBook finally taking a dive on me… but here it is.

We had a Halloween show ready to go, but that was about the time my laptop died and I haven’t had the time to take out the hard drive. It’ll most likely end up being a bonus show someday.

With just over 500 passages arranged by historical era, this collection contains very little filler, essentially presenting a string of “all-star” legal quotations. This volume is a recommended read or gift for the law student, lawyer and judge – not to mention anybody interested in the legal profession. As should be said of any good read, Rapkine’s reference book accomplishes two goals – it entertains as well as educates. . .

I’ve checked out the excerpts of the book and found a few familiar names. Probably one of my favorites would have to be:

“If books and laws continue to increase as they have done for fifty years past; I am in some concern for future ages, how any man will be learned, or any man a lawyer.”
